Today I got my own domain name, not a WordPress site. The name will be booksbyliz.com, and hopefully, I will be able to bring everything on my current blog site over to my domain. Wish me luck.
Good morning, friends and family
I’m posting this morning because I’m updating my site and wondered if the “follow” button and the “comments” sections are working. Would a few of you be willing to leave me a message to see test it? (There’s a drop-down menu in the upper left corner where the Follow button can be found, and the Contact button is in the Menu below Books by Liz.) I would sure appreciate the help.
When I finish this website, I’ll probably get my own domain so I can post links to advertise and sell my books online. But first I need to know that all of my recent tweaks work properly. If you do contact me, a simple “Hi” will do, or you can comment on how the site looks to you.
Thanks to those of you who have the heart to contact me – and to those who just read my post in brief.
What a Holiday Weekend!
It seemed not to stop, my Memorial Day weekend between company, this, that, and the other thing. My life has settled down now, and I’m back to working on my new website.
I’m still in the process of tweaking my website, so there may be more after this blog is posted this afternoon. I’m trying out scheduling my post date. Hopefully, I’m improving things as I go.

Test Post of New Blog Setup
I’m really enjoying this video class showing me how to set up a website.
Now I’m going to try to insert a short video from our Hawaii trip in 2011.
Apparently, I have too much data usage on my site, so I can’t upload a video – and after all those hours of trying to figure out how to do it. At least, I’m learning something. 🙂
I’ve viewed this on my site and have discovered that the font is way too big. I’ll need to see if I can figure out how to fix that – but not until tomorrow. I think my brain is fried tonight.

What a Pain in the Backside
I thought I would never get Shadows of the Past published on Amazon Kindle today. It just wouldn’t convert well. I got it done, though, and it should be available within about 48 hours.
Shadows of the Past, Chapter 13
I’ve added a book cover Shadows of the Past to my blog. I can’t believe I’m about ready to put it online–just a few more minutes. Continue reading
